Local Weather
Located in the heart of South Georgia, Tifton experiences warm weather almost year-round. Average temperatures in the hottest month of July reach highs of around 90 degrees and lows of around 71 degrees. Average temperatures in the coolest month of January reach highs of around 59 degrees and lows of around 38 degrees. While the greatest amount of rainfall typically comes in January, Tifton can have anywhere from 2 1/2 to 5 1/2 inches of rain each month.
