October 2022

  • The ABAC Run for the Nurses
    Sat, October 29, 8:00AM to 11:30AM

    The ABAC Run for the Nurses supports the Lisa Purvis Allison Spirit of Nursing Scholarship in the ABAC School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Register today  at https://runsignup.com/Race/GA/Tifton/RunForNurses5KandHalfMarathon!

    - Chip timing will be used for both races.
    - The 1/2 marathon course is USTAF certified.
    - All 1/2 marathon finishers will receive medals.
    - T-shirts guaranteed to those who register before October 14.

  • Trick or Treat in the Village
    Sat, October 29, 9:00AM to 4:00PM

    Trick or Treat in the Village at ABAC's Georgia Museum of Agriculture sure is fun for all! Enjoy the Historic Village, a costume contest, and more! Wear your costumes and come join the fun!

  • Rutland Farms Fall Festival
    Sat, October 29

    Join Rutland Farms for their FALL FESTIVAL from 10 am to 6 pm (last ticket sold at 5:30 pm). Following the festival we will also host our FLASHLIGHT CORN MAZE NIGHT from sunset to 10 pm (last ticket sold at 9:30 pm). We hope to see everyone out on the farm! 

  • Donatello’s Halloween Party
    Sat, October 29

    A little spooky, scary, and so much fun! Join us THIS Saturday at Donatello’s starting at 7 PM! Enjoy Georgia Grown Snacks & Drinks, live music from Eric Hatcher, and a Halloween Contest! Bring your friends and meet new ones in Downtown Tifton! The location for Donatello's is 224 Main Street S.

  • Downtown Trick or Treating
    Mon, October 31, 5:00PM to 6:30PM

    Bring the kids for a scary safe night of trick-or-treating in Downtown Tifton on Monday, October 31st, from 5-6 pm. Candy is free to children 12 & under. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

      Did you know that Miss Tifton is BACK. As an official preliminary, this competition is your first step toward the title of Miss Georgia and from there on to the title of MISS AMERICA.  We are thrilled to be a Sash and Title Sponsor for this event!   • Fall Fest: Second Saturday

    Our next Second Saturday will be a downtown, old-fashioned Fall Fest! Save the date for Saturday, November 12th, for a lot of fall festive fun! Merchants will be having special extended store hours & there will be live music in Tifton Gardens. Tifton Gardens is located next to Don Julio’s! Stroll, shop, and restaurant hop! We'll see you there.

      Join Southern Gearheads for Cars & Coffee! This event is free and will be hosted at Prince Chevorlet located at 1410 US-82.

  • The Art of Autism

    An art exhibit by local autistic artists of all ages. Displayed at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture locatied at 1392 Whiddon Mill Rd. Do not miss this beautiful exhibit! 

    December Times: Tuesday-Friday: 9 am - 3 pm Saturday: 9 am - 4 pm January Times: Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 3 pm.
